Nationwide Recruitment adopted "Roque" the tiger; taken when only days old from his mother to be put on sale in a spanish pet shop. "Keep wildlife wild!" Born Free rescued this vulnerable tiger cub who is a full-grown majestic tiger living in a large jungle enclosure at Born Frees special tiger sanctuary, in India. “Keep wildlife in the wild" - The Born Free Foundation is an international wildlife charity working throughout the world to stop individual wild animal suffering and protect threatened species in the wild.
Mugaruka & Chimanuka the gorillas
Magnificent Mugaruka and Chimanuka are rare wild gorillas in DR Congo. Both are massive, powerful 'silverbacks'. Gorillas are peaceful vegetarians living in close-knit families. Mugaruka lost a hand in a deadly wire snare. We adopted a Born Free gorilla to help keep them safe from poachers.
