Supply Chain Support role 

Salary up to £25,000

Based Staffordshire - MRP/ ERP experience

The role is to support the general administration of the Supply Chain team, which includes the Purchasing, Planning, and Logistics teams. Although the role will include core tasks, there will be variations depending on the needs of the team which may change on a daily and weekly basis.

The individual should be comfortable with balancing and prioritising tasks with guidance from the team, this will include general admin tasks including data entry and other system-based processes. The individual should be able to highlight opportunities for improvement in our internal processes where necessary and be comfortable in communicating effectively with the team.

Key responsibilities and Duties include (but are not limited to):

Maintaining purchase order data within the Priority ERP system on instruction from the purchasing team

Assisting with raising and sending purchase orders

Generating production paperwork with guidance from the planning team (Works Orders and Picking Lists)

Admin support for the logistics team

Assisting with the generating of paperwork for imports and exports

generation of shipping marks for packing lists and invoices

generation of transport details for packing lists and invoices

Acting as an ‘over-flow’ for the production admin during busier periods/absence

Inputting daily production data

Inputting stock transfers and adjustments

Processing complete Works Orders

Supporting the month-end reconciliation of time sheets and other admin from production.

Scanning and filing relevant paperwork from all teams

Supporting the maintenance of Master Data within MRP/ERP

Other Duties:

Supporting the team with ad-hoc admin activities where necessary (during absences etc.)

 

Knowledge and Experience:

Previous experience in an admin-based role is essential

Strong attention to detail

Comfortable with data entry tasks

Excellent communicator (verbally and written), internally and externally

Experience of MRP/ERP systems 

Competent with MS Office (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous

This role may suit someone who has experience as a supply chain planner, supply chain assistant, supply chain support, supply chain administrator, and MRP/ ERP administrator.
