Project Manager - Financial Services

Based Remotely - Hybrid Working

Agile background. Experience of working within Financial Services.

Experience of PPM, MS Project, Jira, Kanban, RAID

Nationwide Recruitment Service has an exciting opportunity for a financial services Project Manager to join a successful evolving business. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational Project Manager to work for a successful IT/ IS market leader and systems software developer/ systems provider.

You will need to have experience of developing client relationships within a software development or IT or financial services business. You will have a background of ensuring projects are managed well, profits are achieved, and goals are met. Maximising value for the customers on all products and after care service.

As a Project manager your previous role as with this role will demonstrate where you have:

·Owned customer/ client relationships; delivering work on budget, to expected quality.

·Assisted with delivering releases, fixes, subsequent releases etc to go live.

·Managed multiple releases all at the same time.

·Owned client relationships, with overall responsibility for profitability, releases, coordinating and managing the delivery of agreed and planned releases to client delivery functions.

·Created and followed project execution plan (PPM, MS Project)

·Ensured Net Promotor Score targets achieved

·Monitored and controlled delivered activities to ensure that commitments are met including use of Jira dashboards/Kanban’s

·Resolution of issues and escalations and the facilitation of regular stand-ups/Agile kick starts

·Create and maintain a credible delivery plan with milestones, resources and dependencies clearly visible. (Note. Resources will sit with the Scrum Masters)

·Stakeholder Management

·Project Financials

·Compliance with the SDLC, Agile delivery and planning methodology

·Manage change through the SDLC/Agile.

·Apply RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) methodologies as appropriate to the delivery

Project Managers are expected to be certified in Prince2 or PMP

·Understanding of software development lifecycles

·Ability to function in a rapidly changing environment

·Exposure to Agile as uses some Agile techniques/concepts

·A certified project management/agile qualification
