HR Director, Surrey/ Kent - Interim or Permanent

Salary up to 80k + bonus OTE c£90k +

Permanent or Interim considered

This is a new role for an HR Director/ Head of HR for an acquisitive, expanding FMCG business based in Kent/ Surrey borders.

HR Careers and NRS's client require someone with the gravitas to be responsible for the HR functions as well as Health and Safety.

This highly lucrative manufacturing business - seeks an inspirational and motivational qualified HR / person, to manage multiple sites from its HQ. and deal with global teams.

ROLE:

You will have previously had experience dealing with FMCG, manufacturing, engineering, unions, managing/ supervising staff, dealing with all health safety and environment issues, experience of articulating an HR plan to management teams in addition to making a strategic and commercial, people related contribution to the success of the business.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have an extensive HR background gained within FMCG or possibly manufacturing gained in a multi-sited EMEA business

Proven, progressive HR experience which demonstrates developing and maintaining the strategic direction of HR and the business while driving change, performance and implementing HR programmes and initiatives.

The ability to think strategically, with vision and creativity, and an ability to align people to the business agenda. This will be combined with a passion for delivering results and driving operational excellence through a 'hands on' approach.

Will have a notable record of leading people and developing and implementing talent management, learning & development and resourcing strategies in multi-sited organisations.

Must have trade union experience

Experience of working within FMCG business that involves you directly or indirectly with health safety and environmental possibly waste management.

Will have successful experience developing people related initiatives and teams while making the most of existing programmes already established across the business.

You will have a degree, an HR qualification
