QA Engineer

Nationwide Recruitment Service has an exciting role due to our client's growth they are looking for a QA Engineer to continue to expand a modern and current Servicing platform.

The idea QA Engineer will be innovative and enthused by working with technology that directly impacts Clients, this is a unique opportunity for you to be involved in the early stages of the development of a contemporary application, with a critical focus on enhancing the user experience, while leveraging contemporary Cloud technologies from AWS, and contemporary development technologies and frameworks such as JAVA 17, Springboot 3.0, Cucumber and Allure.

You will be actively contributing to the improvement of our Quality Assurance and engineering practices. Supporting teams to implement new tools and quality practices and models such as test-first/shift-left, the testing pyramid, and Agile testing quadrants.Supporting and implementing CI/CD practices and deployment strategies that will enable the confident release of software and protect our client systems from unplanned downtime.

You will be responsible for identifying and accurately documenting defects ensuring any patterns are analysed, including root causes providing input to the scrum team for improvement opportunities analysing changes assessing testing requirements, and providing estimates to facilitate effective planning. Interrogating the quality of software delivery, includes our ways of working, the design and architecture of the features the team is implementing from the perspective of functional and non-functional testing, and the technologies we are using.

Successful Quality assurance requirements 

Experience as a technical QA Engineer 

Speicliaty QA in test analysis and the automated testing of applications and APIs – using all the tools and methods at your disposal

Experience with, various testing types and techniques,

Strong analytical skills

Experience in architecture and business requirements, and an ability to drive conversations around quality with product owners and business customers.

Experience evolving test strategy based on the system architecture,

Experience in governance and guidelines around the software testing life cycle.

Expoerinece in financail services

Experience defining and implementing BDD structured automated API tests within an existing automation framework.

Experience with Agile methodology.
