Nationwide Recruitment Service has an exciting new role for a Care Home Quality Assurance Manager.  This is an excellent opportunity for a talented, and self-motived quality assurance manager to join a first class team and an established inspirational professional business. You will be joining an award winning business carrying out their national quality assurance. 

Quality Assurance Manager Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate the quality across our client’s care homes and care services.

Responsible for evaluating and advising on quality improvement; advising and supporting our client’s central functions and stakeholders to improve the quality of service.

The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure that residents Quality Assurance processes are robust across all services, providing regular reports on service quality and improvement actions, working closely with Resident Safety Director. 

Conducting a busy internal assessment schedule of quality and compliance at home level, the Quality Assurance Manager will provide clear and focused feedback to General/ Home Managers during inspections

Providing timely reports that identifying the service strengths and focusing on required improvements needed

Guide and coach Care Home Managers to ensure they understand clinical and quality governance frameworks, care quality processes and the requirements of our regulators.

Frequent travel across the country as this is national role with overnight stays.

The Homes are predominately South and Midlands based, however there is the requirement to travel across the country.

Quality Assurance Manager Role requirements:

A degree level qualification, or significant equivalent experience,

Experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in either a Social Care environment, Regulatory or Local Authority Contracts / Quality Team.

Full and up to date knowledge of Regulations and Legislation across CQC, CIW and CI

Experience, knowledge and understanding of person centred and person led care planning and the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and knowledge of Local Authority quality assessment and contract management frameworks.  

A confident communicator, you will have experience of developing services to achieve improvements, of completing inspections / audits and of working with Regulations and of proactively conducting and managing Residents reviews, taking account of the Resident or their Representatives’ needs and wishes.

With concise and accurate record keeping skills, you will be able to interpret information and report back, to use complex systems to analyse large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data to determine trends and themes, and be able to identify root causes of issues and remain focussed on their resolution.
