Care Home Manager – CQC Registered Manager
Up to £68,000

An exciting new job for a Care Home Manager to work for a leading business in the West Midlands.
You will be responsible for the resident’s welfare and healthcare and ensure the highest quality health and safety.
The Care Home Manager will develop and lead the home care team, ensuring they are motivated and all Goals and objectives are met.
Experience:
Social care practice and home management
Highly self-motivated, and inspirational – you will be a positive solution-seeker, with good resilience
Leadership abilities you will inspire confidence through positive behaviours and actions
Financially aware and business focused – you will understand and have experience with business drivers about running a care home
Experience in building developing and maintaining relationships - dealing directly with customers/ residents and resident's families.
Organised: manages tasks, time and resources well and is able to continuously and appropriately re-prioritise activities to achieve successful outcomes
Manages and Develops self and others: accountable for own actions; manages team to achieve business goals and supports the development of appropriate skills, knowledge and behaviours in team members; able to manage conflict appropriately and coach staff to improve
Lead and manage the team to provide individualised, person-centred, high quality care outcomes, meeting
Develop practical and effective working relationships, and strategic partnerships, with CQC, commissioners, and monitors of your Home to drive care quality and service developments, maximising the Home’s referral opportunities
As CQC Registered Manager for the Home, ensure achievement of ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating and compliance with company policies and procedures
Continuously improve operational efficiency and care quality, producing and analysing reports and audits to effectively implement Service Improvement Plans together with ongoing monitoring of improvement programs to ensure their timely achievement
Key Skills/Qualifications Required
Experience working as a successful Home Manager and meeting regulatory requirements
Experienced in recruiting, developing, managing and leading staff teams
Experience in managing to define operating budgets
Experience as a CQC Registered Manager
Experience dealing with CQC
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
