Qualified Social worker for a Training and Development Manager Role - Social worker/ Learning & Development Consultant (Qualified Social Worker) Home based - Wales and South West

Our client requires you to be a qualified registered social worker registered with experience of training delivery.

Region/ Areas covered include: Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Merthyr Tydfil, Port Talbot, Bristol, Hereford, Devon, Taunton, Cornwall

Trainer/ Training Consultant / Learning and Development Consultant - Home Based - Up to £40000, including basic salary of c £35k + car allowance of £5k

You will need to have experience of delivering and developing inventive training learning and development techniques within the care services sector, ideally within children's care services, family services, adoption or fostering.

Our client requires the successful candidate to be a Qualified Social Worker/ Trainer registered due to the nature of the training and work carried out.

 

 

 

The successful candidate will possess:

 

  • a sound knowledge of statute, regulations and experience of their application and implementation within ideally fostercare/ fostering or looked after vulnerable people/ young people in care/ adoption/ fostering/foster care/local authority/ independent agency or similar experience in developing and delivering training/ learning and development courses, slides, training notes, exercises & activities
  • The successful trainer will deliver interactive, fun training sessions and bring enthusiasm, change and ingenuity to the team.

 

Criteria

 

  • A social work practitioner with experience in developing training courses within foster care/ fostering or local authority or care services for children or similar
  • Excellent communication skills, excellent PowerPoint and presentation abilities; strong IT skills and adaptable on travel to various sites.
  • Possesses a sound knowledge of statute, regulations and minimum standards for young people/ vulnerable/ fostering and has experience of their application and implementation in an independent agency
  • Experience of developing and delivering Training courses, PowerPoint slides, handout packs
  • Experience of stand up delivery.
